CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU to every PreK-8 family at King’s that contributed to making our 17th ANNUAL BOWL-A-RAMA a fun…memorable…and successful event. This annual fun(d)raising tradition never gets old as seen on the faces of students, parents, teachers, and friends who enjoyed four hours of fun and fellowship while raising money for our great school. Pictures will be posted to our website next week.

We are thrilled and thankful to report that our $45,000 goal was reached with an “11th hour” donation that took our grand total to $45,376. GO KING’S SCHOOLS! That means there will be an all-school ICE CREAM SUNDAE PARTY (date TBA) to celebrate the success of this year’s event. We’re trying to figure out what we think is God’s favorite ice cream flavor. What’s your guess? Rocky Road? Angel Food? Rainbow Sherbet?

Students who raised $300 or more receive their week of FREE DRESS starting tomorrow (Oct. 26-30). CONGRATS! (Please adhere to the Free Dress policies in our Handbook.)

Other highlights:

1. We had a record number (16) of event sponsors this year. THANK YOU, SPONSORS!

2. The 2nd Grade class won the coveted trophy for the most money raised per student ($366) and will be treated to a PIZZA PARTY & FREE DRESS DAY on Tuesday, November 3. FYI – they won the trophy last year in 1st grade, as well. WAY TO GO, 2ND GRADE FAMILIES!

3. Samantha Bastin (3rd) had her name drawn as the GRAND PRIZE WINNER and will receive $400 in gift cards along with a week of FREE DRESS (Nov. 2-6). CONGRATULATIONS, SAMANTHA!

This year’s BOWL-A-RAMA was another example of how much fun we have at King’s Schools. Our school families truly enjoy being together and it’s obvious that we all love each other…and we love our school. Once again, THANK YOU to everyone who contributed and worked so hard to make it a HUGE SUCCESS.
